Frequently Asked Questions
Do adults need tickets too?
Yes — our tours are designed to be highly interactive for both children and adults, so accompanying adults are included as part of the guided experience rather than passive observers.
Can I walk in?
No - Our tours are by appointment only
What is the price of the tour?
Our standard public Snail Safari Experience is $25 per participant (3 years old and above, kids below 3 is free). Customised group rates may apply for schools, RCs, corporate groups, and larger private bookings depending on group size and programme format.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing and covered shoes suitable for walking within an indoor farm environment.
What happens during the tour?
Tours may include a guided farm walkthrough, introduction to snails and their lifecycle, hands-on interaction, sustainability sharing, arts & craft activities, egg harvesting, and selected tasting experiences depending on the programme format.
How long is the tour?
Public tours are 60 minutes, while private and educational group tours are usually extended to 75-90 minutes.
Is there a minimum age to join?
There is no strict minimum age. Younger toddlers are welcome with parental supervision, though the experience is generally most suitable for children aged 3 and above.
Is the experience suitable for toddlers and preschool groups?
Yes — we regularly host preschools, playgroups, and younger children. Sessions for younger age groups are usually adjusted to be more sensory-focused, interactive, and slower-paced.
What is the difference between a public tour and a private tour?
Public tours are shared sessions with fixed timings and structure, while private tours are longer, more flexible, and can be customised for schools, birthdays, corporates, and community groups.
How many people can join a tour?
Public tours are intentionally kept small (Less than 15) to ensure a comfortable and interactive experience. Larger private groups are usually split into smaller rotating activity groups throughout the session.
Can large groups arrive together?
Yes — this would be a private tour arrangement as larger groups typically arrive together before rotating through smaller guided activities to maintain smoother crowd flow and interaction quality within the farm.
Can participant numbers be changed later?
Yes — for larger bookings, participant numbers can usually be adjusted up to approximately 2 weeks before the visit date.
What happens if some participants do not show up?
For private group bookings, billing is generally based on the final confirmed number closer to the event date, as manpower and operational planning are arranged in advance.
How do payments and confirmations work?
Private bookings generally require a signed quotation to confirm the slot. Reservations remain tentative until confirmation is received.
How does rescheduling work?
If rescheduling through the booking platform, guests are responsible for ensuring that all booked slots are successfully moved. Partial reschedules may leave some tickets under the original session.
Can weekday morning tours be arranged?
Yes — weekday morning sessions are available for schools and private groups, subject to availability.
Do you offer school learning journeys and workshops?
Yes — we regularly host preschools, schools, enrichment groups, RCs, and educational programmes focused on sustainability, biology, urban farming, and food systems.
Are we able to touch the snails?
Yes! Guests will have the opportunity to gently touch and interact with live snails during the tour under guided supervision.
Is the farm indoors?
Yes — WholeSnail is an indoor snail farm, so tours generally proceed regardless of weather conditions.
Are photography and videos allowed?
Yes — photography is encouraged during most parts of the experience. Photography inside the farm itself is restricted, though our host will take a photo on your behalf from an approved angle.
